In honor of the passing of legendary character actor Dick Miller, we will be featuring two of the best movies to feature our namesake, Walter Paisley, as portrayed by the great Miller himself! First up is the original WP movie, Bucket of Blood. This Corman production is so cult it was remade as a TV movie in the 90's with Anthony Michael Hall schlepping through the WP role, and later as a stage musical at the mythic Annoyance Theater in Chicago. In this one, WP is a janitor who finds fame in the new art scene, when he inadvertently casts a cat in plaster, and it is mistaken for a sculpture. Soon, he is having to cast larger and larger beings in order to meet the demands of his new found fame. A satirical delight of a B-Movie!
As always, this is FREE event, with FREE popcorn! Stick around for our second movie, and to see live riffing on old educational films by some of the regions best comics!!!
